i bought an air purifier. tho the flat i am in almost always gets sea breeze and fresh air (occasionally strong winds), running it still made noticeable difference, even if i dont close the window.
i think anyone should acquire one. you cant imagine the filth it catches from the air, not to mention dust. (the electrostatic filter that gets various gases goes full black in a week, even in clean air).
one with hepa filter would do good. at least 1 dust collector filter (the usual plain filter to catch dust), 1 electrostatic filter (almost standard in all), 1 hepa filter (most important) should be there. if, you can get one with nano tio2 filter, that would be the cream on top of it. it can also filter gases like co . (actually active carbon filters do it too, i dont know if all hepas do it) however nano tio2 filter may emit rather high concentration of ions. if it does you just pluck the ultraviolet lightbulbs off and it turns off.
