First, I think it's way cool that you're moving through this difficulty with so much dedication to your family and to your own personal faith. My feeling is that the planetary transition from 3D to 4D will entail centuries of work such as you're doing. Keep it up!
As everyone knows, the Bible is full of contradictions which everyone selectively ignores. For example, Gene Robinson, the first openly gay Episcopal Bishop likes to point out that those who refer to the passages in Leviticus which say that homosexuals should be stoned to death ignore that the fact that same punishment was meted out to adulterers.
Why should anyone choose to condemn one group so severely and not the other? How can this be resolved?
So, here's something which may be useful. (John 13:34) A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; even as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
You might inquire of your fellows, how can I love women as Jesus loved his disciples if I regard them as being subservient? How can I love them as I know Jesus loves them if I accept your relegating them to second class status? How can we resolve this paradox together in a way which exemplifies Divine Love?
By the Way, just where IS the Love in the moment?
