Thinking out loud:
Just as time is a linear construct in 3D, so is polarity a construct. Linear time assists navigation through 3D effectively with limited 3D understanding and capacity to hold information (without the segmentation into small units of linear time, the enormity of information would overload the 3D awareness). Polarity provides the baseline for 3D entities to become aware of others besides self, to make decisions, to choose, rather than to operate from instinct/survival, and eventually to be accountable and take responsibility for decisions made. Polarity first presents the idea of separation, which is necessary to understand that there is self and other, and awareness of choices and their results through cause and effect demonstrated through linear time, provide the fertile ground to evolve awareness toward the idea that all is one.
