What exactly seems sad to you about this?
its just my experience- but I see people (in my sub-society) not being honored for who they really are. Like generally society being based around money and things like that- and not how well people are doing- or their inherent worth, as a human "being". That's how I took that quote.
Hey ZW!
I guess I said that it's funny because our language is soooo insufficient in explaining who we really are. It shows us that even the most scholary of humans do not have the ability to see who we are and refer to us as "persons" or "personalities". LOL! And the those of Ra lined up their words in a funny fashion. To me anyway. Many times I have caught their humor and laugh literally out loud!
Acceptance is of most importance my friend! All that is good and all that is supposedly bad contains every experience we need for growth. The suffering comes with the territory. If we want out, there's only one way out, polarization. Either STO or STS. The adept utilizes meditation and he utilizes experience for his/her growth to graduate. Of course, within those two things are many finer nuances such as balancing the personality and so on...
So, don't be sad. Rather, find an opportunity within your sadness to grow. If you can.
