Thank you all for the suggestions. Last night, after looking into the banishing ritual, I got stage fright. I don't own a dagger, and I'm not sure how strict I need to follow the instructions.

For this reason, I decided I'm not experienced enough to dabble in this. I decided to use noise cancelling headphones, which worked great. The bangs were muted and I got very good rest for once!
