Okay so guys, story.
This is a real story and one of my best first perspective stories of my rather peculiar psychosis. Okay. so
Theres this place called EVE online. In there there is this thing called the Gallente Federation. Its one of the possible starting places in the game, You can get more info on it online. Now in the game when you select a new charachter it asks you for your corporation, you're meant to join a new corporation quickly but there is this one peculiar choices called "Center of Advanced Studies" which is the only NPC or non player characther groups to send a representative or have an election to try to get one to be one of the ones chosen to represent, either way a first far as I can tell from either or both groups. Now all other corpos are composed of people who leave them quickly but CAS is the only gallente group where people stay for very long times and thus is the only what I would call "permanent" npc groups where people stay for decades. Now I've played a char stircly there for on and off for 10 years and I run a small business selling synthethic synapses and hunting pirates. Its a safe living in the little corner. There was a NPC election where the locals could act out representatives and my faction tried to get hereditiary control of Amarr and Gallente at the same time, I was lost in the middle of the thing as a scientist who's physical corpse was recovered on one of the stations and prenounced dead but the story continued due to being a "pod pilot" or one of the resurrectable. My actions in the long campaign lead me to a position where I could comfortably claim to be the most immersed in game NPC group designers for gallente for several years. I tried to leverage this for the Amarr inheritance wars for my capatain to win the final duel, we were all thousnads of us scouring the NPC missions for the best possible gear for one ship and the arc lasted for a good 6 months, My faction lost in the end but one I was very close with won and they've been good to my char since then and I was somewhat instrumental in preventing a planned group suicide in game for a loser of a planetary duel contest. It was a minor detail in game but it was interesting to leverage my cahracther to prevent a local custom on grounds of humanity. Anyway, thought i'd share the events of like the past 6 months on EVE.
