I've used a fishing weight tied to fishing line or a string in the past.
Now I use an angelite pendant with moonstone on a silver chain.

But it doesn't really matter. Just a weight that's not too heavy or too light.
The string should be tight, but not so heavy that it wears out your wrist.

Great thanks! I have fishing weights and line. I think I may also craft my own from wood or something too.
