So after reading maybe the first 20 posts, it seems the discussion is about what sort of energy requirements are involved in the harvest. Let me first say that we have 3D Harvest and higher density harvests, with different requirements. Let me also say that there is 3D cycle-based harvests and 3D non-cycle-based harvests. I vaguely remember there are cycle-based harvests in 4D and higher but am not completely sure if I am remembering correctly.
Thus my understanding is as follows:

It's too bad more questions regarding how higher density harvests work weren't asked. It's certainly a fascinating subject.
Thus my understanding is as follows:
- 3D Non-Cycle Self-Harvest: Penetrating into intelligent infinity (indigo/violet work). Available to all polarities is my understanding, despite being mentioned in reference to a question about STS. Good Ra material on this.
- 3D Cycle Positive Harvest: Service to Others configuration of at least 51% polarity. STO is about balanced energy centers/unconditional love, and frequently turns on the green ray, but overall Ra has said simply looking at positive entity's violet ray is basically all that is needed to determine the overall positive polarity. Not completely intuitive, but makes sense. Good Ra support for this.
- 3D Cycle Negative Harvest: STS doesn't have balanced energy centers, as it denies green and blue, so only the strength of the red/orange/yellow are looked at it. Opening the gateway to intelligent infinity is not required for 3D cycle negative harvest. Good Ra support for this.
- 4D Negative Harvest: STS must be able to open the gateway to intelligent infinity from the solar plexus chakra, or at least springboard from an overactive yellow ray to indigo strongly enough to open it. Good Ra material for this.
- 4D Positive Harvest: Opening of the gateway to intelligent infinity. Occurs naturally when STO polarity approaches 99% as massive amounts of energy move through the now nearly completely undistorted red, orange, yellow, and green rays, and minimally balanced blue. No direct Ra material for this.
- There is more Ra material on 5D harvest, but don't think this thread has touched upon it too much so won't list it out.

This violet ray is the only consideration for fourth-density positive. In assessing the harvestable fourth-density negative, the intensity of the red as well as the orange and the yellow rays is looked upon quite carefully as a great deal of stamina and energy of this type is necessary for the negative progression, it being extremely difficult to open the gateway to intelligent infinity from the solar plexus center. This is necessary for harvest in fourth-density negative.
