To make sure I understand, you had problems with other people before and took it out on a different person of the same profession who'm, from your post, showed no ill intent or disrespect to you?
Seems to me like more than revenge you span the wheel of karma. Don't you think you maybe made a good officer now disappointed with people which will taint all further interactions with other people?
If you don't want bad interactions with officers, you should let go of that intensive magnetic focus on them.
