I don't know, just exciting to think kundalini might be the key to bringing forth 4D.

Maybe this was also the message of Jesus - "the coming of God's kingdom" and "the coming of the Holy Spirit". When St. Peter was awakened, he spoke (in "glossalia" pentecostal event) of a prophecy:

And it shall be in the last days, saith God,
I will pour forth of my Spirit upon all flesh:
And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
And your young men shall see visions,
And your old men shall dream dreams:
Yea and on my servants and on my handmaidens in those days
Will I pour forth of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy.

A mass kundalini awakening would be... disruptive.

I'm a fan of Chinese culture, and especially their mystery traditions and schools. What you have is known in some schools as "The Roving Fire". It is seen as a deviation from proper cultivation which originates in the "xin" (心) (heart, center, intention, core) energy of the heart, which controls the form and flow of energy. Increasing "ming" (命) (life, fate/destiny), that potent upwards seeking life force, without purifying xin, is the main cause of deviation in the practice of spiritual cultivation. Optimally, you would find a teacher now and they would help guide your awakening and make sure that you don't suffer any physical or mental ills from your practice. It sounds like you are going to have to simply put your faith in Heaven's designs and make do by yourself, though. Look into something called the microcosmic orbit. This is an energy channel running up the spine into the head and then falling down through the nasal cavity and down the front of the body back to the base of the spine. There are particular yoga practises that open this pathway, allowing the kundalini a safe way to rise and recirculate, until one day it drills through the top of your skull and you achieve liberation.

It's okay, at least you are not "Entering the Madness". Uncomfortable bodily sensations are the least concern when awakening kundalini. I need to get my ass to China, because the theory is hard to put into practice without guidance and I have some uncomfortable deviations of my own.
