In the CIA document I posted not too long ago a book on kundalini was referenced. It has details on experiences such as pain and discomfort from pressure until one does certain yoga poses or manages to do something to spread the sensation out so it's not so concentrated.
One case study had a female psychologist who feeling heat in her side, knew she had to spread it to her other side or else something bad would happen.
Heat seems to be the presence of psychophysical energy collected, or an intense current of it, and it's use may be anything from consuming excess 'stuck energy' to burning through blockages to rebalancing parts of the body. It can be felt like a fire and be distressing and even excruciatingly painful such as to be burned alive without burning.
It seems to be a rebirth pain, a sort of stretching pain as kundalini burns through old issues and rebirths new formations of energy within.
I would suggest yoga, and a guided meditation, daily. The yoga should be at least an hour or two, the meditation should be at least an hour up to four or more. Your body needs 'configuration', yoga is very good (like hand seals) at configuring the energy of the chakras associated with the kundalini experience towards more easily being worked with by kundalini.
As for meditation, that's just to keep your head on straight and find yourself through all of the changes and experiences you have, to know yourself through rebirth is to emerge anew without worry or expectation of the newness of life.
I too have become experiencing heat.... I'm actually sweating right now sitting in front of a fan. The heat for me is very mild but spread out rather than concentrated. It feels like my entire upper body is glowing like a furnace with heat but I'm just 'hot' as if it were still 110F outside, but it's only 80F out. So something is going on because now you, Sjel, and I in a short period of time have experienced symptoms of kundalini awakening.
It makes me want to make a thread to see who else is experiencing such things.
Like the blue pearl, or in Hindu it's known as the blue bindu (binue? I'll edit the right word in later), which is an inner vision of a blue dot of light popping in and out of your vision. I've had this experience since 2014, it's appeared as small red dots, big blue ones, green ones, irregular shaped multicolor ones, including rarely a vibrant rainbow color one. And my eye doc says there's nothing wrong with my eyes (besides the usual) and so those 'photisms' are an internal experience. I've also seen some strange lights when laying in bed including a red glow coming off of me for a second.
Definitely something is going on.
To alleviate the fire I'd recommend not fighting it, let it burn through you, the more the struggle and resist the more it will do so in return, once you let it be free to do what it needs to do the pains of the process should ease up because there's no longer resistance.
Such as not focusing on the sensation but just sitting with it. This can be hard to do with pain but I hope doing so eases the pain in this case, don't focus on the sensation as much as focusing on keeping your mind steady, still, clear, and singular.
Kundalini is intelligent energy, it is your soul's very construction material, it knows what to do, how to do it, why, when, where, and our resistance to this process seems to create pain and discomfort, like birthing complications only you're the mother and infant.
Have faith and trust in the kundalini, it seems to be part of the divine plan to bring forth 4D.
