Doreen Virtue and her Jesus experience

I totally agree that the aversion is to religion/dogma and man's interference with the Word that has been altered and changed to suit the needs of a select few. This caused me to have mixed emotions about religion all of my life, and I could not realize any religious practice with any degree of stability eventually leading to atheism for awhile. Turn the page to my awakening and the story changes from one of non-believing to one of faith in the One Infinite Creator, commitment and endless seeking. However, I still do not follow a 'formal' religion as we know it today.

I just learned about Doreen recently on Gaia T.V. I think I was lead to her in an attempt to help me with some negativity issues. The only book I've read of hers is Angel Words and while it is by no means a masterful work, it helped me to understand the impact of the words we use in every day life. It'll be interesting to me to see if she can avoid being too "New Age" in her work with Jesus.

As for her enlightening experience, I'm not sure whether the energies entering our planet at this time made any difference in this particular instance. Apparently, she was always spiritually gifted so contact with the higher realms isn't unusual for her. I just think that she wasn't fulfilling her higher purpose and it was time for her to alter her path.
