I focused on love, and the more I do that, the more my shadow self comes out.
The more advanced/progressed I get, the more potential I have for creation (even in the future).
I don't know if I'd want to actually create some of the fantasies I had before.
Anyone else becoming more fine-tuned in their thinking?
I am being careful in what I watch, listen to, and how I respond to events. I want the future I create to be one I actually desire.
So not as much freedom of thought, but still my feelings are more pure than they used to be. I can watch a movie I've seen twice before (Rock Dog) and feel totally inspired as I focus on that.
It is unreasonable to place the burden of 'being good' without a thorough stipulation you are good. The best practice is to have an ideal of who you want to be, how you want to respond. Be your nature self. From what you do compare to what you want to do. From that gather evidence as to why you are not your ideal. By doing this you seek it. It is not fixed. Give yourself the flexibility to be yourself without judgment, but understand the specific reasoning why.
Rather than 'trying' not to think something of harm. It is better to play it out in the mind as an exploration of the validity of your discernment. Then by comparison as to what you want to be you deem it acceptable or not.
- Much New Age thinking ignores the momentum of negativity and limitation. I somewhat understand why you feel the need to fine-tune your thinking. Doing DMT caused the disarrangement of filters between subjectivity/objectivity in effect causing imbalance. As Ra said this is the time where we face ourselves often for the first time.
Ra said "The heart of the discipline of the personality is threefold. One, know yourself. Two, accept yourself. Three, become the Creator."
Edit:
I wanted to add. I do not believe there is a shadow self, persay. What men experience as they reach within is a maiden. Often this maiden is so poorly treated, it's true nature is not seen. Many hide their intentions behind the mask of silence even with themselves. This places strict expectations upon the inner recesses of the mind from which the conscious is informed. Working with the maiden, court her. Ra said something along this lines. It is a critical part of adeptness to work with the maiden, for reason stated.
It's hard when this maiden only appears in my dreams. Then I don't remember to show love. I only respond in fear.
