Thanks for letting me know how I'm coming off, SMC. I certainly did not mean to denigrate anybody's contribution or imply that I speak for the group! I'll keep an eye on this tone going forward.

For what it's worth, I simply think there's a limit to the practical advice you can give to somebody in AC's situation from the distance of a message board. All I really wanted to do was reinforce Jade's advice, since hers has in my opinion the unique quality of not needing to know AC's exact situation.
