Ahktu, I have noticed the same thing. The light is now so bright, some times I have to squint outdoors. I grew up in Kentucky, and never was it like this here. Out west, yes, or down in the Florida Keys, but not here. But since last spring, the light has seemed almost intolerably bright here. It's not your imagination.
By the way, this is a reminder to us that we will be soon ascending the steps into progressively greater light...so we must lighten our hearts and be ready for the ascension before we must make the choice....time to do our homework...

The star I've been referring to is Betelgeuse, and others.
