Is there a veil in the hell realms?

I remember one lady who had an NDE who experienced a white realm. Nothing but white. And she heard a voice saying "this is your eternity."

After some time she came back.

I wonder if in the afterlife our fears are stronger than our hopes and beliefs.

For some people they are. But keep in mind, in NDEs a person still has a body (albeit a badly damaged one). That will necessarily distort their experience of that realm.

Without a body, it is much more difficult to hold onto such distorted beliefs. In the same way that the body tends to anchor one to confusion, the spiritual body tends to anchor one to clarity.
