If Diana Ross delivered soul to a mainstream audience, like Bob Marley delivered reggae, and Elvis delivered Rock n Roll, then Eckhart should be alongside them for delivering mystical practice.

There is another potential for having difficulty with meditation or being in the now which may be associated more with shadow material though. So I would also champion Ken Wilber as a supplement to Eckhart.
