Yes, i fully agree!
It was mainly about musician trying to get attention at any price, often at the price of really "killing" the song. but i guess you know what i mean.
Writing around a solo instrument is a different thing, not really my taste usually, but thats just personal preference.
At some point i discovered a alomost childlike naive passion for music in me, and a great love for beautiful naive little melodies. And i found that this is much closer to my inner self, so i allowed that just to happen.
I think music is extremely personal and at times even trans-personal.
Each song out there will touch someone really deep, and thats what its all about for me!
I just go by what touches me at that moment.
Aalthough i can still appreciate brilliant musicians (and there are thousands out there) and perfectly acknowledge their music, even if it doesnt touch me.
