Thanks Ali, now that I think about it, many women have been attracted to my looks so I should be more confident, I shouldn't take rejection personally, maybe these women weren't right for me. I do believe its possible to have a spiritual life while in a relationship, in fact I think the two improve each other greatly, but what I meant by meditating more was maybe I should learn more how to find happiness inside me before I look for it outside me. That's interesting Chett, do you mean your partner is consciously polarizing to STS, or does he just seek pleasure more than the average person? From what I understand people consciously on the STS path can actually be very friendly and entertaining to other people as long as it doesn't interfere with getting what they want. I agree about learning more about the dark side to learn more about the light side, but in so far as learning about your own dark side, I'm having trouble picturing an unconditionally loving relationship between two people polarizing in opposite directions. Could you give me more detail about this?
