I have watched a potion of his teachings, maybe 10%, but signed off shortly after he teamed up with Corey due to my subjective feelings that Corey would make an unreliable witness in a court of law.
I am fond of David because some of his work is focused on synthesising the material view with the spiritual and I think synthesis should be the focus rather than debating back and forth over this or that on more transient matters.
I also love his geeky ways and even invited my 15 year old nephew into watching an episode with me as he is an A* student in physics (not a LOO related episode).
My description of his approach would be to suggest that he doesn't really value Ra's opinion on being "dispassionate" where sharing the material is concerned. The same with his sense of "urgency", and my favourite observation of Davids style was shared on another thread a couple of years ago...
