I spent a lot of effort going through the LOO material highlighting passages regarding whatever concept I needed to clarify for myself. You might not believe this, but the following is in the LOO and I'm pretty confident that I have it right.
Ra uses the terms space/time and time/space but they didn't spend much effort on the differences. Here goes: space/time is what we are experiencing right here and now. We have a lot of freedom to choose what to think and what to do. All of those choices, one after the other, result in the events of our lives. Our unmanifested self (look it up) has a little influence here and there, and the more we meditate the more we can rely on that influence. It's very helpful.
Here's why it is helpful: when we make the transition from these space/time lives, we go into time/space. In time/space we have virtually no freedom at all. That's when and where we relive our space/time lives in supreme detail, picking up clues that help us live our next lives better. The only freedom in time/space is deciding which bits of previous lives to re-experience. So we build up wisdom in our time/space unmanifested selves. Some of that wisdom stays with us for our next space/time journey, and more of it can come though during meditation.
I would type more, but lunch is ready.
