I would think every single thing has to do with that, it is part of the great symbolism that ever surrounds us.

But I guess I don't understand a few things that I can't seem to find answers for, perhaps you guys have thoughts about this and can give me some ideas.
The way I see astrology is that who you in this space is heavily dependent upon the surrounding influences. This planet in itself would be an influence on everything in the space that surrounds it (grows weaker the further away) as everything is interconnected. You yourself are an astral body which has an impact upon others, your parents to me would be in themselves other astral bodies with strong influences upon yourself and your personality.

In yourself, you have the potential for every sign and even more than those, there are influences that spread out far and wide within the inter-connection of all things and the astrological study is one of the biggest local influences, which are stronger and more relevant to the experience here. So to me to me your birth chart is in some way an imprint upon your veil of these influences at the moment you were born, which gives you a tendency to be and which requires will to break the patterns.

But is this not my true self?? If I was an oversoul and I was putting together my incarnation as a wanderer looking to awaken in this lifetime, why would I not design my personality to be passionately curious and intensely loving? Why do we have so many people here that have personalities that don't necessarily lead one to seek? For instance, my husband is a Capricorn, tends to be more materially focused than me, more balanced and traditional- and honestly as awesome as that is in the physical world, why design a wanderer personality that has a tendency to be less emotional and more monetarily/ status driven? Not that there is anything wrong with that- I hope I am not offending anyone here, I'm just curious why we wouldn't make us all deep thinkers with big hearts?
For myself, I resonate strongly with my configuration and definitely believe it is something I carefully picked.
But I do think our true identity is that of infinite potential, so I can see some that would choose a configuration more in alignment with themselves for it to be easier to channel their presence within this space, just as I can see that others could choose a configuration less in alignment with their essence as a mean to explore who and what they are.
The focuses and lessons we can seek are infinite.

Our current self is a harvest of past experiences, so I do think there should be a correlation but I do think this can also be external to your astrological configuration as the impact of past experiences somewhat transcend our current veil in my view.

I do think we are all infinite beings, we no beginning nor ends. Old souls are perhaps a higher degree of experience within this Octave but "old" would be a poor term I think.
The Thoth tablets describe nicely this concept in the "Key of above and bellow".
Thoth Wrote:The cycle below is not truly below but only
different in space and in time.
The consciousness there is working and
testing lesser things than those ye are.
And know, just as ye are working on greater,
so above ye are those who are also working
as ye are on yet other laws.
The difference that exists between the cycles
is only in ability to work with the Law.
We, who have being in cycles beyond thee,
are those who first came forth from the
Source and have in the passage through
time-space gained ability to use
Laws of the Greater that are far beyond
the conception of man.
Nothing there is that is really below thee
but only a different operation of Law.
Look thee above or look thee below,
the same shall ye find.
For all is but part of the Oneness
that is at the Source of the Law.
The consciousness below thee is
part thine own as we are a part of thine.
I think this means that the cycles are always filled, there is differentiation because that is the point of experience. We all are part of an infinite flow that goes from Octave to Octave, each of us is infinite yet some of us have greater experience/awareness within this one Octave of experience. As we move within densities, we work on greater and greater parts of the Law within this Octave because that is the way the cycles are designed and while we move up, what is above us also does move up just as what is bellow us also does move up. When we leave this Octave, new consciousness emerges from the lower Octave to fill the space and the cycles carry on. The flow never started nor will it ever end, we experience being at different levels because Time is a force with such a purpose, to separate experience.
