hmm.  That doesn't make a lot of sense to me.  

To me, greetings are much more personal, and have a specific, intended purpose.  

It's the same reason why negatives can't indulge in unlimited assaults on positive entities; the very fact that an attempt has failed shows that they were ineffective.  Polarity is all about the effectiveness of acceptance (positive) or control (negative).  Failure to execute polarity means a loss of polarity.
