    My condolences also, Lavazza, to you and your family.

    What good advice you have gotten so far!

    The only thing I would add is to just be yourself, openhearted and open minded, kind and humble as you are.

    No need to get into any debates or arguments especially if you are not comfortable with it. Religion is definitely one of those topics that set people afire....and it's good to keep a comforting and calm energy at a funeral. Your Grandmother will really appreciate it if you are fully present for her.

    I think it would be great if you are able to fully participate in the ceremony and service, to sing with the hymns, and respond with the congregation.
