    My mother's brother passed away this weekend as well. We will be going to spend time with family in a couple of weeks, so will probably miss any official gathering. I guess it's just as well. My mom and I are both energy sensitive, so being around all the crying and sad people would otherwise weigh heavy on us.

    I guess you can't really plan for how interactions will go. I just deal with things as they come up.
