I had a similar experience with marijuana as well. I used to be a heavy user from my teenage years until my early 20s. My early 20s is when I used the most. And then I moved so I wasn't able to find any because I didn't really know anybody in my new neighborhood. And so after that, I would just smoke twice or less a year, almost as a tradition. But towards the end of those years, almost every time I would smoke I would get a bad sinus infection. My sinuses were so painful. It was so extremely annoying. So I basically stopped smoking it. I think that it's probably been roughly 8 years since I stopped smoking it. I crave it sometimes. But your experience reminded me of that bad sinus infection that I used to get, so I'm definitely not going to use it anymore. I guess I did get allergic to it.
