Or it could be that what you are creating, with your free will, is something that could lead to your own death... or that feels frightening, at some level, as though it could be fatal... to you, or to some level of ego that opposes your evolving beyond needing it.

Rather than trying to recover the dream itself, what if you pray or meditate about the wisdom behind the dream? What if you ask for that wisdom to become crystal clear to you, so you can understand and act on it wisely... either through recovering the memory or through any other available source?
