I think you posed this question maybe a year back in another thread, and we didn't seem to get a lot of answers to it.

I think the purity of the crystal lattice is what is of importance; rather than the means by which they were generated. Even in a lab, they aim to replicate the perfect creation conditions anyway, in terms of heat and pressure. It's just on a vastly accelerated timescale compared to what happens in the crust of the earth.

I think it's also worth resurfacing some Ra quotes on this as well:

    1) it takes a minimal balance in an entity to make the crystal 'work', or to drive intent through it:

"However, it may be noted that only the will of the crystallized entity may cause interdimensional light to flow through this material."

    and

    2) the actual effects generated are the result of the combination of the relative crystallization of the entity, and the relative (purity of) crystallization of the crystal.

"The more regularized the entity, and the more regularized the crystal, the more profound the effect."

Ra uses the word 'regularity' to indicate less presence of flaws and inconsistencies in the crystallization of both parties.

personal note: I've used a small synthetic sapphire to great effect for some time now. Only caveat is that I am unable to drive this powerful crystal except on very tuned occasions. Most of the time I have to rely upon the Clear Vogel Cut Quartz I posted a pic of to do my intention work with regards to focussed energies.

I will get a 'calling' when I need to use the small blue sapphire; otherwise, it serves as a silent radiator the vast majority of the time.
