the 'post your crystal' thread

I went to the rock, gemstone, and mineral show today and my new beauties were begging to be photographed and posted. I also grabbed some old favorites to get a few quick snapshots of as well to share. Maybe I'll be inspired to organize my collection and get my "altars" in a state to share pictures of the whole lot. I have quite a few these days.

Gonna hafta break up the posts a bit since only a max of 10 images are allowed per.

This is a double terminated polished citrine which was the first thing I had to have today. This was also the first picture I snapped, and I noticed a very clear bird image in the upper left hand facet in the image - pretty neat stuff! The background of the windowsill covered in bird poop is fitting...
