He wouldn't have allowed it even if they had tried. It was not, I believe, that help was not offered and available, but rather that he had no desire to accept it or have it. No matter how hard they might have tried to intervene, he had free will and it was not until his hatred had dissolved that he was able to see the error of his ways.
We do have protection - but - if we choose to walk a path whereby we will gladly cross and attempt to break that natural protection of others or ourselves, we forfeit that protection through our own rejection of assistance, of love from others and support. Therefore, we reject our unity with all things, and that creates a rift that causes our protection to become nullified by our own will. As such, as we do unto others, so we enable upon ourselves. We cannot do hurtful things to others without opening ourselves to hurt ourselves, for we are One.
He did, however, receive help, in the end. However even with that help, his will could not be swayed. Yet, the story is not yet finished, and Nassnanarath's essence is not yet done its work although it has evolved and rebirthed anew.
Fear not, my friend, for the protection of light exists for all, of that I know and can assure you, but it is indeed sad that there are those who choose to have it gone, not believing in its usefulness or efficiency.
This story is a sharp example of the power of choice and how we can more easily act, than undo an act we have done. I apologize if this story has caused you any grief, that was not my intention, but rather to illuminate as to the experience of my internal being. This is but one story, one thread in the weaving of my consciousness, but it is an important one that is central to the theme of this life and so I share it.
Also, thank you for your well wishes, I want to say you have a beautiful soul and I feel a lot of positivity from you, don't ever lose sight of that. There is light all around you, and there may be times in this life where you may be that protection that is there when all other lights go out. Believe in this light and in yourself, there is a lot more good in the universe than there is bad, I just happen to remember some of both aha
