The choice of how one lives their life is not a community project - it's the choice of the individual. My parents *tried* to tell me what I should do when I was younger. It didn't work.. Instead of doing what they told me, I did what I wanted and everything worked out perfectly.

Simply put, Adonai doesn't want to be a slave to another person. He explained his rationale and has an agreement in place to do what he wants. What's wrong with that? It's all free will.. To think that Adonai would follow societal norms is the real laugher as Adonai has fully constructed his own norms. I can only wish him well on his choices.
