Can compounds on asteroids be measured for isotopes which can verify the supposed time of the explosion? Wasn't supposed to be too long ago, compared to start of solar system at 4.6 billion years.

We also have no real idea of when Mars became uninhabitable. Could have been before Maldek exploded.
