The updated version could be best begun approached or understood by conceptualizing each density as almost an octave unto itself. So with each density you have the seven sub densities.

The red ray sub density of every density represents its physical, outer, and tangible material reflection. And every sub density thereafter is progressively less physical and more ethereal. So the red ray subdensity of every density is the part of that density which equals its outer elemental 1st density expression (its elemental body so to speak). However, each of these material expressions is more refined and subtle than the last. So, for example, the red ray sub density of green ray is a more subtle and refined matter than the red ray sub density of say, yellow ray for example. Even though they are both very much physical material expressions.

So with every density you have a north pole of vibrations and a south pole of vibrations. The more south you go, the more physical and attached to form things become, the more north you go, the more nonphysical and free of specific form things become. The 4th subdensity of 4th density sits squarely between physical and nonphysical. But then, that is true of every 4th subdensity. And every 4th subdensity is resonant with green ray, albeit augmented by its platform densities architecture.

So the "astral bodies" of every density constitutes the orange, yellow, and green ray sub vibrational levels of every density which are respectively the lower, middle, and higher astral planes. There are seven levels to each (the collective subdensities of every density). The devachanic bodies, which are even less physical than the astral bodies constitute the blue or 5th vibrational subdensity of every density. Indigo is 6th subdensity, and so on.

The "subdensities" of the 7th density are the actual major densities themselves.
