I was hoping someone here might be able to interprit my dream

Hi Jamie. Well Met. Here is how I interpret your dream....

I was in a room filled with benches, i was sat there with other people i had never met before

Benches symbolizes waiting. The other people seem to be your spirit guides and/or other selves, waiting for you to show you / tell you something

i didnt look at anyone as i didnt need to but i knew they were there

You're subconsciousness in the dream sensed it was safe and they were spirit guides and/or other selves, confirming this for you in case doubt came into play.

A lady walked into the room and said "who's the one writing a book?". I thought for a moment, well i am but i havent done it for a while. I replied to her saying "I am", she said, "Its a very good thing"

Seems you are possibly destined on a karmic level or catalyst level to write this book before this incarnation ends. You are being encouraged to do this for your spiritual growth.

(my book is more an autobiography about my childhood, such as foster care, abuse etc)

This is for your continued path of helping others.

At this point i was sitting on the stairs, at the top of them

Stairs are symbolic for "levels you are currently at". Being that you are on the top symbolizes you are now ready to do this task.

there was a man standing a few steps down from me, i was crying

Asking for help / assistance / guidance

he looked at me, he took a peice of paper i was holding in my hand, he held it to his nose and smelled it, as soon as he smelt it

Smelling is one of our 3D senses. He was sensing the content of what was on the paper to evaluate and possibly judge it for approval.

he quickly turned to me, he lifted his hand but without touching me he could levitate me. I was floating in the air by his thought

One of your major guides and/or other selves that is working with you on this karma. Levitating you is giving you the confidence in him and showing you nothing is impossible, (including your task of the book).

He used his other hand to pull things out of me but never touching me, i can only describe this as being evil entities, thats what it felt like as the mans actions felt very benevolent

Your guild and/or other self is completing the removal of karma that you've been working on consciously or subconsciously. Some lesson(s) are completed and you may think that they are not on some level. He is making it perfectly clear that these lessons are conquered.

I was crying as he did this, he was turning my upside down etc, all different ways

When lessons and karma is removed from you, you get a spiritual one'ness feeling that balances your energy centers and makes you cry from the blessedness of joy.

Everytime he pulled something out of me, i felt myself get lighter

When you have a lot of "stuff" at the same time that you need to work out, you feel heavy, weighted, (in reality, this is too much earth energy - not being in balance). Now with the karma/lessons removed, you feel something that you have not felt in a while - sky energy in your auric field - you are probably much more balanced, but feeling/sensing the sky energy, (when you've been all about earth energy), makes you seem/feel lighter.

He stopped and said, "I counted 12, i cant pull anymore out yet"

12 represents and is the number of what is completed, (IE your lessons/karma), which forms a whole, a perfect and harmonious unit, (the new you without the karma). In the ancient civilizations, like Oriental and Judaic, it corresponds to the plenitude, the completion and the integrality of a thing.

He laid me on the floor at which point i was still upset

You whiner !! ....lol, just joking

He performed the same action again and said, "right thats 20 and thats definately all i can do". I stopped being upset

20 represents "the fundamental differentiation which creates in the world two relatively antagonistic poles". This is telling you you are now in balance - in your energy and your soul. Also 20 symbolizes resurrection or to the reincarnation. Meaning in your case the re-birth of the new you with your new energy now that you removed some karma and lessons that activated you spiritually.

Another man walked into the room. He was very tall, pale skin, dark clothes on and blonde hair that was ruffled

Tall man symbolizes closer to the universe having the knowledge that is unknown to most.
Pale Skin symbolizes receiving a gift on some level.
Dark Cloths - Clothes can express our personality or be used to hide away our imperfections. Dark clothes may indicate depression and secrets, (in your case, the latter).
Blonde Hair symbolizes and indicates a guide. Whatever they say in the dream is infallible. However, if the hair is dyed blonde it indicates a sham – either you or someone in your life is pretending to be pure of thought.

He told me to lay on the floor on my back which i did, he said put your arms out across the floor, which i also did. He then started to chant/sing, i couldnt make out the words he was saying but then i could hear him. He was standing over me from the bottom of my feet[/b] and the words he sang were as follows.
"I'm putting a Hex on you, i'm giving you the power of divination". He did this with his hands to the air

You were being healed in the sense of being put back in balance energy-wise. The symbolism of divination is to foresee, to be inspired by a god. Seems you possibly were given a gift of one or more attunements symbols that were being imbedded in your soul and being to foresee, (if you practice and learn this art), with the blessing, knowledge and wisdom of positive energy.

and then i started to cry again

Again, stop Whining

I then stood up and the original man in my dream said to me..."they will try to get back into you but they wont manage anymore, you might feel them trying to get in you, it'll feel like your being pushed but be strong because your covered in light now"

He is talking about the karma/lessons that may try to challenge you, but now that your energies were put into balance, the karma/lessons will bounce off of you, so-to-speak. You will instantly prove you are worthy of not having the karma/lessons that were removed, (by you and your hard work consciously and subconsciously).

He then finished by saying, i'll take the rest out later

This guild and/or other self is here to assist you in this incarnation and will allow you to know he is there with you again, probably when you conquer another "set" of attached major karma/lessons, and will work on your energies to balance you once you remove the karma/lessons from your being.

At which point i woke up feeling extremely calm, i only felt very tired, almost like i had been through that ordeal in real life

As a side note, may I respectfully recommend for you to keep your Chakras and energy in balance. This seems to be very important for you in regards to your karma/lessons and continued spiritual growth. You do not want your guides/other selves to do all the work, (trust me - you don't want that added karma), you want to do what you can and allow the assistance and guidance to come in and do what they need to do....to "assist" you.
