It is my belief that you need to create proper, refined thought-forms in order to get clear information in this manner. You can get some truth trying to seek like this but expect a good lot of it to be painted with tons of fiction from the subconcious mind and countless other sources. There is a reason why Edgar Cayce came up with stories about Ra-Ta being a blue-eyed, blonde-haired man that took vacations to Atlantis. 5% truth, the rest fluff from who knows where.

You can try it yourself: Ask the universe for answers to many questions and try to channel it. You will get convincing yet really sketchy stuff. There will likely be some potential precongnition but it will be extremely unrefined. It takes a great amount of discipline/practice to get to a point to where you can predict stock quotes for instance.

If you can predict things (stock quotes) efficiently and reliably, (I assume that is what you infer by it takes discipline/practice) Why not submit yourself for testing ?
Even if I had the ability, it would be very distracting and distorting for humanity to delve into the paranormal in such a manner at this point and time. There is a reason why negatively-polarized and positively-polarized adepts don't go out and prove things.

So how would you define what you do ?

Maybe because they can't because no one up to this point has understood it enough to explain it simply ?

The main limit is the human vessel's inability to perceive metaphysical phenomenon and the amount of faith required to begin to see such phenomenon accurately; Humanity gets a hint of something supernatural and they take the whole thing for cash; Ergo: Religion.

As for me: I am being actively encouraged by my guidance to stop seeking paranormal ability as consistent seeking will likely destroy my ability to use catalyst as a balancing/polarizing tool. Apparently this is a very important incarnation for me.
