Q'uo is Carla's higher self. Also, Ra is Carla's higher self as well. However, she is part of Ra social memory complex. Small wonder she was able to channel Ra 
Many channels think they are channeling other entities when it is actually their higher self. Interesting. More importantly, who cares? If the words resonate then it shouldn't matter who said them. Maybe Carla channeled a grilled cheese sandwich. But what do I know? Nothing really.
