Why is there a need to progress fast?
Is there a bus waiting somewhere?
No harm intended. But spirituality isn't instant gratification. And considering the fact that at at least 20 years of training under a guru were supposedly required in the past... What are we complaining about.
Sit back.. You're already there. Us westeners have this attitude of taking a pilgrimage and hurrying along every step of the way forgetting to take in the environment just to get to wherever it is we're going. Once there we kiss a stone or statue and bail again.
What's the point? This is a life's journey, and we don't get to say when we'll advance.... "Oh I think I'll discover the secrets to the universe next Sunday afternoon right after soccer practice..."
I'm trying not to be negative, but this isn't about collecting boyscout badges.
