The Dream Thread

I had a really cool dream recently where I was reminiscing with someone about working as a test pilot flying experimental jets and then later on two space shuttle missions. As I was reminiscing I would be back there flying the jets and it felt very real. One image that really stuck with me when I when I woke up was flying so high that the clear blue sky turned black as I reached the edge of space. The feeling of speed was quite intense and that feeling of breaking through the stratosphere was euphoric. At the same time there was a feeling that anything could easily go wrong with that much speed and that at that height there was little chance of making it out safely if things got out of hand.

I dunno if I was accessing a past life or someone else's experiences but it felt very real to me.
