Normally it is a rampant thought form that has taken on enough self awareness to defend itself, and tries to influence others into adding energy to its existence.

Businesses and corporations utilize egregores as well. I have come across wallstreet folks using magic to benefit their flow of money. I found it interesting that corporate bankers would rely on magic, which brought me into the investigation of radionics.
