I'd like to offer my own experience with what Ra describes as "instances of matings so well refined in previous incarnations and so well remembered that the blue-ray may be penetrated at once" and subsequent comments on the phenomenon.
I met my husband 5 years ago on accident and there was an instant blue ray penetration for both of us. We exchanged words flowingly and with such grace, it was like a dream. It was a very healing time, he was instantly healed of his crippling alcoholism; I found an escape from a neglectful and dark relationship. We both had subtle spiritual awakenings.
It's an interesting experience when you love someone unconditionally immediately. Even though it's obvious that both of you have been shaping yourselves for each other your whole lives, there is still a lot of sacrifices to make and pruning to do to grow alongside each other. There is just no other way. You have to be the best person that you can be for that specific other self.
Spiritually this is a double-edged sword, which may be another analogy for a "jewel dearly bought". One "price" to pay with this is complacency. Sometimes out of "love" we let our other self be less because the whole is often already so much greater than the sum of our parts. Another cost it seems is the "substantial portion of your space/time" that is required to develop this sort of relationship. Since often it is "so well refined in previous incarnations" the price to pay it seems would be many lifetimes of tragedies and triumph together. We all know that growth comes from the more difficult experiences so one can only imagine. This is all time spent in dedication to a single other-self versus time spent in dedication to developing the personal self or in service to others on a wider scale. Sometimes service to others seems downright unpalatable because in no way imaginable would the interaction be more fulfilling than the one that's so easy and full of green and blue-ray love.
The jewels though, are dear indeed. First, when you know how to unconditionally love an other-self, it's easy when you open your mind to it to use that as a jumping off point to learn how to feel unconditional love for other other-selves. Also, it allows one to learn to feel and accept unconditional love from others and feel worthy of such love. These are great stepping stones in our present society, not to mention just the experience of proper bonding/mating, in a society where the stresses and pressures in attempting to achieve this are warped at best. Stepping stones that give little glimpses into the unity of all. And, last but not least, to briefly mention that my first glimpses into intelligent infinity occurred during sexual intercourse. Dear jewels indeed.
I hope my experience allows some insight at the Ra passage under discussion. Thank you much for your time.
