TheEternal Wrote:Hmm, well the major message coming to me is STUDY STUDY STUDY, expand your field of thought. Read things you have never read before and explore as many new concepts as possible. I try to follow my intuition by seeing what 'pops out' at me and just follow trails of information and it often ends up giving me exactly what I need to know. This can be done even by just going to google and typing in the first word that comes to your mind.
Perhaps you could use some practice working with your intuition although you seem fairly intuitive to me. One way I do this is by going out for a walk with no intention to go anywhere and just see where my intuition or feelings urge me to go. Learning to trust what comes to your mind and to your intuition is the first step in developing perception. You have to gain a trust with your ability to receive knowledge from your guides and higher self, and from the higher layers of your own consciousness.
Hmm, what sort of meditation or exercise do you regularly do? Can you give me some info on what your current practices are?
This is what I'm doing. The addiction to 'new' carries me far and wide and I do so for walking, talking, information and any other medium of life. So yeah, I know that what I need will come when I search even if I don't know what is needed.
Studying comes and goes. Usually I get 1-2 hours a day for esoteric studies.
Meditation also comes and goes. Usually I get 30 minutes of interrupted meditation before bed.
Sometimes I can squeeze in 20-30 minutes at any time during the day. Getting completely uninterrupted meditation is unfortunately less rare in my life situtation at this time.
I work around it by applying kung fu to dishing and other menial tasks, bringing about a loosely meditative state.
There's a slight blocking from the gf who has been forced to accept metaphysics since our relation due to thrown objects and other minor disturbances (along with unexplains in personal history) but categorizes meditation as hogwash despite material scientific backing of the beneficial effects.
The issue will probably resolve itself fairly soon, though.
