I have read some of Cosmic Memory by Rudolph Steiner and found it very interesting. He was writing at the turn of the century so his view of evolution is intriguing to someone who is used to Darwin's theory. For him the planet evolves along with the races of humanity, taking on more solid forms as our patterns of thought become more rigid.
