WAG, have you considered the implications of taking 1D matter putting it with other 1D matter, in order to transform it into something else (alchemy if you will). Consider taking a metal from the ground, purifying it, shaping it, and making it a chair, one that any can interact with. Whereas a simple metal will spend years alone in the ground.
Have you considered the idea of taking a seed, and helping it grow it into a tree, one that can fruit in the desire to both continue its own and to feed others? We are always serving these 1D and 2D creatures, and others are using them to serve themselves. However, the interaction between STS and these entities is on the surface, the same as the interaction between STO and these entities, the difference is internal to the individual who is interacting with these entities.
Maybe the majority don't see themselves as creating in terms of serving, but it is the ultimate manifestation of what is: an investment.
