Myself I felt immensely trapped, even though the work environment was alright. I learned a lot from my experience at Apple, especially as a teacher (workshops and One to One). I yearned for freedom from the work-shifts and from being stuck in an imposed structure. That's why I left and became a full time freelancer. One of the best decisions of my life
