If a person has a thought form/entity/etc causing the loss of sight, whereas seeing is needed for more constructive work with "clearing the way", then there is nothing wrong with looking outside the self for a temporary fix to enable sight, in order that seeing allows for the ability to quickly learn what needs to be learned.
Why else would healing arts be needed?
If everyone truly left everyone else to their own devices and said "it's all yours dude", how is there any actual service involved? Service is interaction.
