That was before moderators were brought in. In reviewing the guidelines, I see what may be an additional violation. The moderators can decide whether or not that is actually the case.

Whatever the mods are addressing has no bearing on further derailing of this thread. We have a perfectly useful thread for the express purpose of discussing/debating the issue you're bringing up.
