I'm so torn and confused over 'entertainment' in general. I saw this video the other day and while I can't say I totally get it, I thought the symbolism was interesting too with her meeting her 'more powerful self' and finding her way out of a labyrinth of sorts... From a 'princess of pop' to boot as well 
I do think there are a mix of positive and negatives in entertainment; applying discernment is not necessarily the rule for most tho. (and i have no idea as to katy perry either)
