Maybe the "steak" represents a type of information that looks good but would actually be detrimental to your seeking. And I think you are right on when it comes to the notion of following your heart. When you insist on doing something you feel is wrong, the resulting issue of conscience can extend down into the heart chakra. You are literally doing battle with yourself.

that is beautiful. thank you. that adds my understanding of the dream. there could well be many layers for my unawakened friend, while smart and genuine soul, almost never thinks outside the box as to politics or life philosophy or life perspective. I will meditate on your insight

Man, SO many WEIRD dreams last night! @_@

In one dream I was dreaming about characters from the video game Mass Effect II. If you haven't played the game and really want to know who I'm talking about: http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Characters. I dreamed that Miranda leaked some sort of chemical into the air that basically made people lose their inhibitions entirely, so they would pretty much tell you anything and act on all their impulses. She was doing this so the Illusive Man would have sex with her, which would allow her to pull some information out of his brain or something. He stepped into the chemical leak and immediately began making a pass at her. However, Jacob happened to walk into the room and he started going for Jacob instead. The two of them started having sex right there to everyone's horror. I was just standing there, my mouth hanging open, trying to look away but unable to pull my eyes from the sight. And Miranda was angry that her plan hadn't worked out. Oh dear, it was WEIRD.

In another dream I met some people in the Secret Service in the government. Like, the REALLY secret service that no one knows about. They had invisibility cloaks, but I could still see something akin to their auras while they were wearing the cloaks so I still knew where they were. They also had all kinds of other neat gadgets. They asked me if I wanted to join them, and at first I wanted to, but then I realized that these people were responsible for assassinations and all kinds of deception and pain, and I said "No thanks." They looked at me like I was stupid and said well, it was my choice, but I shouldn't expect any mercy the next time I ran into them.

In the last dream I was in my parent's living room and suddenly this huge line of black cars pulls up into the driveway and all these government officials come out. They walk right up to the front door and my parents are totally freaking out. This thin, white man steps forward and says he is (name), the president. In my dream it made sense that it was this man and not Obama for some reason. I didn't really know what to say. Why on Earth were all these guys coming to see me?

They started asking questions about a guy I worked with, wanting to know everything about him. But I barely knew the guy and couldn't tell them much. They then started telling me to use my powers to locate him, as it was imperative to national security. I told them my abilities don't really work that way. I might be able to get a fix on his energy and tell them what he was feeling at the moment, but I couldn't just pull a physical location out of the air. This seemed to frustrate them, and at the same time my parents kept constantly talking in my ear, telling me not to tell anyone anything. Everyone was talking at me all at once and I got really frustrated and was like SHUT UP! and walked outside.

The next part of the dream I remember I was standing in some building and saw on the news that some class A alert had been broadcast and we were expecting a nuclear strike or some other really bad thing. Sirens were going off and people were freaking out and I didn't really know what to do with myself. All I could think about was the fact that this was going to bump airport security up to the point that probably nobody would be able to get here for homecoming. :p

very vivid dream last night. excerpt from the notes i wrote in my ipad immediately after waking up (with a few edits for grammar, writing on the ipad is a b****):

I dreamt of the day of harvest?
started off the night before kind of as a party...everyone was partying...for some reason i didnt realize how symbolic my decisions to hang out with certain ppl were that night and how evntho I hung out with my spiritually good souled friends at the beginning of the night, I hang out with other friends who are less spiritual, kind of through some powerplay / disagreement that represented my karmic pattern. but i agree to come back to my friends place before morning. 

I get back to my friends place like 30 mins before dawn and I figure out he is in the city with a crowd awaiting the light of a new day. 

I people gathered to see the dawn of a new day. I hurry through the crowds as i see dawn approaching but am just a few blocks away. then I saw the rays of the sun sweep across in front of me and I suddenly realize as i see the faces of joy that this was the harvest - and that spiritually in tune people knew it. as the sunlight swept in front of me to where my best friend from when i was 5 yrs old, david (a truly good soul) was, I heard him say in my mind with pure joy "it's coming"   

when the rays hit me, I wake up in a dungeon/cave of some sort. I know there is powerfully entity that wants to find me - overlord of some sort who is in control. he wants to place me in a new world. of similar vibration to earth. as I run in the darkness I tell myself that I don't want to experience the hell that is earth. then the overlord warmly speaks in my mind and reassures me. I go to sleep I wake up in my dream the next day and remember everything up to the point sun rays hit me - I don't remember the overlord part in the dream. Thing seems the same but things feel different. no one remembers anything special from the day before. all the people around me are the same, but i notice the ones that I am close to - david, are similar but different. It feels like thier soul has moved on and in thier place is a similar but ultimately different soul. 

I ask my friends - david what they felt during the harvest. they just laugh and say nothing happened. but I keep asking my friends. then somone appears, a spirit guide type person appears and tells me that since I was extremely close to being harvested I can be told and that I remember most of the experience. he said yes some of my friends had been harvested - the best way to tell if they had a different soul is if they act differently over time but the easiest was to note a dramatic shift on thier spiritual ideas. he told me tht david had indeed been harvested. I felt a deep sense of loss. I asked about other friends. he wouldn't tell me. he told me to stop publiclly asking around about the harvest b/c the earthly powers who knew about would reprogram me. 

I then remember deep sadness. loss. but I theorize that their must be others like me. I notice that I can see miracles as miracles, not just chance. I see reality to realign itself to allow a boy to live after falling off a five story building.  time stops when hes 5 feet from the ground. invisible hands orient him differently. he lands and is barely bruised. 12 yr old kid. I talk to him. he talks about the harvest and how he just missed it too. he talks a little about the evil institutions of the world and not to trust them - just like the institutions of tne last world. he shares my deep sadness of the harvest. 

I wakeup in real life. with proud sadness.

as much as I espouse the value and use of dreams, I still haven't gotten to the stage of documenting them. But I do try as hard as possible tor recall as much detail before the rest of the stuff in my Brain Operating System loads up. know what I mean? when you start thinking about all the stuff you are going to do that day, the concerns, silly worries, etc etc.

not long - maybe 9 months. I don't journal often except when I wake-up in the middle of night. I don't usually have time in the morning. I wrote the above material at around 230-3am.

It's interesting, because I did not look at it until this evening, and during the day when I told one of my more spiritual friends about the story, I completely combined the role of the spirit guide with the 12 year old boy. I don't recall speaking the spirit guide type figure at this point, but I wrote it down so it must be true

I don't remember much of my dream last night, but what I do remember was odd. There was some evil alien woman who wanted to take over everything and was killing a lot of people. There were these beings she controlled who were bald with bright red skin and fiery eyes. Even though they were organic they seemed more like constructs, as they appeared to have no free will of their own and only limited reasoning capability outside of following direct orders. They had a power that let them command people with their voice. They would tell a person to do something and the person would have no choice but to obey. I'm not sure if it was a form of hypnosis or something else, but their favorite trick seemed to be commanding people to get on their knees and then kill themselves, or they would get the person on their knees then crush them with a super strong blow from their fists.

There was a lot of running around, trying to save the world and such, but it is all blurry. The thing I remember clearly was that one of the red beings finally got near me, used their power and told me to get on my knees. I looked him in the eye and shouted "NO!" Somehow I was able to resist their power. The being continued to command me, making each directive stronger than the last, and I continued to shout "No! No! NO! You have no control over me!" The being didn't seem to know how to react to failure, and it sort of just shut down, like a robot that couldn't compute an answer and got a fatal error.

So I was able to go through the red beings without falling under their spell, but then the woman gave the same powers to a human man and he started coming after me, and somehow I realized that this was different and he would give me much greater difficulty. He ended up getting me backing into a corner and reached out like he was just going to strangle the life out of me. His power was much more potent than that of the red beings. He wasn't yelling any actual commands but I was growing weak just being in his presence. I was weakly deflecting his blows, attempting to hold him off while he tried to beat me to death. I started screaming "HELP! SOMEBODY HELP ME!"

Finally this black man with long dreadlocks and glasses comes over and tackles the man so I can get away. We started running and I was like "Thanks!" but we quickly got separated and I feared he would be killed because of me. I then ran into a young girl who looked like she might be his sister, and was running around with her. More and more people were getting "possessed" by the evil woman, and people were running everywhere in a panic. It was complete chaos. I told the girl we needed to go somewhere where there weren't so many people. It wasn't safe in this place. She said she knew of a place we could go, but we would have to double time it. I looked back at the area most of the dream had taken place in, and realized with a great sadness that a lot of my friends were still in there, and the man who had saved me, but if I wanted to live there was nothing I could do for them at that moment. I had to run and try to figure something out later.

In another section of dream I was exploring this really interesting house in a little village, that seemed absurdly large on the inside compared to how it looked on the outside. There was also a man who had been doing vigilante justice and killing criminals. He was also a priest, and there was a church connected to the house. He was telling this little boy who lived in the house, who was a choir boy, how you had to trust in God and let God deliver justice. You couldn't let your heart be filled with hate. I was appalled at how hypocritical the man was being, and realized it would likely crush the little boy when he found out the truth about his role model, but I couldn't think of anything to say to make it better.

There was also a part where I was in a mental hospital, and this doctor was forcing all these injections into me as part of my "treatment". I hated it in there, and finally I realized that there was virtually no security in the place and I just walked out. I realized that everyone who thought they were trapped there could just walk free if they took the time to find the exits. Not hard to see the metaphorical value in that part...brings to mind the Devil card in the Arcanum.

I've had a couple of dreams about Nibiru/some kind of planet coming close to or hitting earth - which is weird because I don't actually believe in it or think about it at all, so not sure what's going on there. The last one was about 2 weeks ago and it hit us and it was a massive fiery ball and we fell off earth onto it, and were sliding down into lava about to die when I woke up suddenly. It felt very real at the time and very terrifying.

One I had a little while back was very interesting.. the earth was deserty/dusty and there was no food left and you couldn't really go outside because it was too hot, so we had to stay indoors and only travel at night. The military arrived and brought in a MASSIVE dead fish/whale on the back of a truck that it was going to cut up and use to feed people. Nibiru was sitting alongside the earth and we were being communicated to by the beings on it, but I don't remember much about them, the main focus was trying not to draw any attention to ourselves. Odd.

I had a simple but cool lucid/astral dream last night. I was on a plane and ejected out and landed on this spot in the mountains that seemed uninhabited until I climbed down the rocks and found a door to a little house that was carved into the mountain. There were people there and I spent the entire dream knowing that it was an astral dream and trying very hard to stay in it so that I didn't wake up, and I just explored around and talked to everyone and stuff. I remember at one point feeling very tired maintaining it, but I didn't want to wake up just yet so I powered through and lasted a while longer until morning when I eventually decided I'd had enough and chose to wake up. It was pretty awesome!

Oh how I wish all of you could join me in Dreamtime. I had such a long, magnificent and surreal dream last night....I am struggling for words to describe it.

Last night I dreamed I was in a military school or something of the sort. The sergeant was being a real A-hole, even for a military guy, and he kept singling me out to pick on me. They were making us do all these dumb things and giving impossible orders, like they were just trying to humiliate us. I finally got fed up with it and cloaked myself and just walked out of the place without anyone seeing me. I knew they would prevent me from leaving if I didn't cloak. As I was walking out the door one of the teachers could see me somehow, and he was running after me like "Wait! You can't leave!" and I was like "Yeah. I can." And I did. The next morning I saw the sergeant in a store, and he said I was kicked out of the program, but on my record it would show I got an A+, like he was impressed by the guts it took to just leave. I think this is symbolic of the mental transition I have been making lately, out of one mindset and into another, illustrating how what may seem like failure is sometimes actually the passing grade.

I also dreamed I had a hot lesbian girlfriend, but alas, I woke up before that relationship could be fully explored.

I'm getting Ear Tones in dreams now. Last night I got a Right Ear Tone in a dream after making a decision that my guides liked, I guess.

I hate it when that happens, lol, but unfortunately it happens each time I dream I meet some hot guy and we start getting closer... and then I wake up.

Neurologists tell us that our dreams last just a few seconds, but the night before last, I had a dream that, to my perception, lasted about 3 hours. The entire dream was a lesson (presumably presented to me by my 6-density higher self) on the ratios, proportions, balances, and flows of energies; not conventional electrical or magnetic currents, but types of energy not currently recognized by western science.

I'll try to relate just a few seconds from the end of the dream, but my words are hardly adequate to the task. We are conditioned in modern western society to think of ourselves as having 5 senses: sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch; but I know now that there is at least one other sense latent within us, because I was experiencing it during the dream. It is the facility of sensing the entire energetic beingness of every part of a landscape or ecosystem (something like the natives did at the Tree of Souls in the Avatar movie). It proceeded into me through my feet and established a divine ecstatic connection. I was up in the air, and the landscape below me was segmented into equally spaced, flattened "bubbles" of a few acres each. I would descend down to just above the apex of each landscape bubble, and as I got within a few yards of the surface, the terroir would flood in through my feet. I could feel the energetic flows and beingness of everything...Everything! Then I would proceed on to the next one. It was very "trippy".....for those of you who have experienced the enchantment of Salvia divinorum, it was something like that, but much denser with information.

Now as this was happening, the landscape bubbles morphed into ships at sea; older ships of the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries....barques, galleons, fly-boys, schooners and such. As I would descend over each ship, down just over the main mast, the complete knowledge of the beingness and energetic flows of the ship and its cargo would flood into me. Every cell in every wooden plank, every strand in every rope, every fiber in every sail, every molecule of every bit of cargo became part of me. I could sense every intention of the captain, of the merchant, of every shipwright and carpenter and sailmaker who contributed to the ship. Every wave that lapped at the hull became part of me. And I was sensing all these things from the perspective of balances and flows of energies that exist, but that are normally obscure to everyone!

Accompanying all of this, at each ship, I was shown a numerical code consisting of 6 digits, one to the left of the decimal point, and 5 to the right, e.g., 2.00671. Each numerical code contained all possible information about every nuance of the ship's cargo. I cannot remember what the first digit conveyed, but the first two to the right of the decimal encoded color, texture, and geometry; so for example, the "00" above conveyed neutral hue, high value, and low chroma (i.e., "white"); thin, planar shape; and moist, tacky texture. The next two digits ("67") conveyed information about energetic flows and balances that I could comprehend, but which I have no hope of conveying to you in words. The last digit contained detailed information about history of the cargo and intentions of the people associated with it.

It is difficult to envision such dense encoding. As an analogy, imagine that every letter in every word in the Encyclopedia Brittanica was, in itself, a complete lecture, and that most of these lectures were on subjects which have no word or descriptor in modern western languages. The entire three-hour dream was a download of information in this format. The brief sequence detailed above--maybe a perceived 7 seconds from a 3-hour dream--was a complete, exhaustive lesson on maritime trade and shipping from 1600 to 1900, made possible by the extraordinary density of information transmission.

At the end of this sequence, I came to a ship which had, at every possible attachment point of every mast, spar, and bit of rigging, oversize boxing gloves, all pointing upward. I understood this to signify that, at a certain point in history, there was a dramatic change in the philosophy of international maritime trade, from the standpoint of energetic flows. I comprehended this during the dream, but again cannot hope to explain it in human language.

At this point (2AM), my distended bladder awakened me, and I got up to go to the bathroom, so of course the dream ended. I had the feeling that the dream would have continued all night if I had not gotten up. Yes, the dreams are epic.

I vaguely recall a dream from last night:

I'm driving around some city. I see a poor (seemingly homeless) elderly man with his adult daughter. They are at the side of the road hitchhiking. I stop and ask them where they are going. They are going to some city 3 hours away. I was planning on going to my house which is in the same direction, 30 minutes toward their location (2.5 hours from their destination). Although I didn't have anything pressing to do that day, in my dream I thought it would be "weird" to take them all the way. I compromise and I tell them I can take them to the edge of the city, which is 1 hour away (hence past my destination and 2 hours from their destination)... then the dream ended...or at least I don't remember the rest.

Afterthoughts: Maybe I should have offered to take them the entire way.This service to others thing in its purest form is harder to incorporate than it seems.

Last night I dreamed Voldemort was trying to kill me. Also, I had telekinesis. In the end I think I annoyed him so much that he just went away. :p

Somewhere, in some reality, there is a very small seaside village. It is clustered around a small bay, that is not more than 100 yards across. Adjacent to the bay, just above the strand, is a private school. It is for students who are Very Bright and Very Witty; they are a remarkably entertaining lot. They are also wealthy and well-connected. A cobblestone lane winds upslope from the school, gently curving around to the left. Above the school, the village is dominated by a large red-brick Episcopal church, with several ancillary buildings. Across the street from the church is a small commercial district, with several trendy, upscale restaurants, a couple of gift shops, and two or three other businesses. At the top of the slope, along a ridge, are a dozen or so lovely houses, where the village's permanent residents live.

It is difficult to categorize the school, as the students there (not more than 40 of them) are in their teens and twenties; both high-school and college age. The Episcopal church seems to be loosely associated with the school. The diners in the restaurants obviously are well-to-do. The village is quiet, exclusive, immaculate, and charming....and off the radar screens of all but the upper-crust.

I keep visiting this village in dreaming. Last night, I went there for perhaps the sixth time. I have been there so many times now that I know where everything is; I know my way around, even know what all the ancillary church buildings are for. Every time I go there, I am searching for someone, but I don't know who it is, other than that it is one of the students who attends the school. I look through the school and church and all over the village, but I can't find him (or her...I don't even know if the student is a boy or a girl). It's mystifying.

I'm wondering if anyone else here experiences this. Is there some place you keep visiting in dreamtime, a place so familiar, it's almost like the place you live in during waking?

Do you meditate? Silence the inner dialogue. Practice having no thoughts, no internal chatter.

A good first step is to begin journaling.

Each night before you lay down, pick up your journal knowing you are about to go in there and gather data to put in the journal in the morning.. [and even at intervals during the night, like if/when you wake to use the bathroom, etc..]. Sit here for a moment really letting this sink in. Notice the feelings that are arising in you while doing this. Then go to bed. Any time you begin waking, lay perfectly still and do not open your eyes. Lay there until something of where you just were begins coming forward in your awareness. This could be details, sensations and/or feelings. It should take no more than a few minutes, something like 1-10 minutes..

When getting up, before going on to do anything else, reach for your journal, open it up and write down what has come forward. Write this knowing that what has come forward is the most important piece of information from the evening. The piece of information that is the most pertinent, and beneficial to you [knowing]. Even if it is something as simple as the feeling-tone of what was just happening. Let this be a daily practice.. let there be no day that goes by without writing down something.

After beginning, each night as you lay down go over what was written the night before. See if this brings up any questions in your mind. Go into the night consciously putting these questions to your Inner Guidance. At about the week mark, sit down and go over the whole week's worth of logs. See if any patterns are forming, if a bigger/clearer picture is developing. Do this also at the month mark(s). This is when it begins getting really interesting. When thing's really begin filling out into more cohesive patterns, interests and insights. Into more clearly apparent communication between your Inner Layers and you.


Begin each log with the date
and under it state the time of night/morning; if it is night, state why it is you have woken
under this state if you were dreaming, vivid dreaming, lucid dreaming or AP/OBEing [even if you do not remember details]
then go into what it is you have brought forward

I continue to have frequent dreams of post-apocalyptic dystopias. A couple of nights ago, I dreamed that the earth had been invaded and conquered by insectoid aliens--the ones that look like praying mantises. These beings are usually presented by the contactees and abductees who have encountered them, as wise and benevolent, but in my dream they were sinister, oppressive slavemasters. Technologically in advance of humans, they had killed off most of the human population in their war of invasion, and then enslaved the survivors, forcing us to serve them in menial ways.

I was one of the survivors. We lived in the bombed-out rubble of some town. The aliens forced us to cook and serve dinner to them, and they had odd preferences in food; they liked the roasted heads of whichever mammal was handy (dogs, calves, and so on). One member of our group, a very bright individual, realized that we could, using nylon and other easily obtained materials, create a gas the would be fatally toxic to the aliens, while being only mildly irritating to humans. So we surrendered our pocket combs and other nylon items, and scrounged up the rest of the ingredients, and prepared a nasty surprise for the insectoids.

At dinner that evening, as we presented them with their platters of roasted heads, we also sat upon the table a concealed device which would emit the gas when someone lifted up the lid. An alien did, and the gas spewed out. The aliens realized at once what was happening, and tried to escape. Those seated farthest away from the gas bomb did manage to escape, but our ruse had given us the advantage of surprise, and we were able to use whatever ad-hoc weapons we could find (re-bar, brickbats, etc) to stab and bludgeon some of the remainder. We didn't manage to kill all of them, but we reduced their number to the point where they no longer were able to enslave us. We dispatched some of our party out to other camps of human survivors, to apprise them of our discovery. The dream then ended.

Actually, I'm not (consciously, at least) scared of such things. I have no explanation for the themes of these dreams.
