Sahasrara: The Crown Chakra

Sahasrara, which means 1000 petalled lotus, is generally considered to be the chakra of pure consciousness, within which there is neither object nor subject. When the female kundalini Shakti energy rises to this point, it unites with the male Shiva energy, and a state of liberating samadhi is attained. Symbolized by a lotus with one thousand multi-coloured petals, it is located either at the crown of the head, or above the crown of the head. I also had some personal observations of the Crown Chakra -

* the 'thousand petals' seem to be a thousand separate points of connection to the Cosmos/intelligent infinity.

* the 'bandwidth' through the crown chakra is much much greater than anything I have experienced through the pineal

* as Ra says, the violet ray is the sum of all that goes before, and any inbalance in a lower chakra reduces the balance/power of the crown. I can actually feel this loss of power

I had another LSD trip last night. You can see the 1000 petal lotus in your vision. Like you know how you can see floaters in the eye. Imagine that but encompassing your whole vision and instead of being static the vortex in the middle is spinning with the petals all seemingly spinning the same but yet differently.

God I love LSD best creation by us ever. But seriously they should rename LSD to veil disruptor. Meditate on LSD and prepare to fly.

Like a pressure on your head and sometimes like the top of your head is higher. Obviously it feels a bit more complicated then that but I guess you will know it when you feel it.

Myself, i had my crown active before i noticed my pituitary gland.
Its like a fountain, one piece coming from the thalamus that reaches straight up, one from the heart/throat that goes more outwards..

But when it just opens, it should feel more like its coming from the whole brain (aka not concentrated/focused+diluted/unfocused) and not reach very high.

Yeah, I've had that experience a few times, but I can't seem to keep the energy balanced when it happens. So I haven't yet reached the state of euphoria that comes with opening up. As for now, I'm doing some grounding work.

Can you describe your experience?

The activation of the indigo ray, is perceived, in my experience, between the eyebrows. Sometimes it encompasses the whole forehead, and moves down to the eyes, nose and affects the breathing. The activation of the violet ray, happens automatically in certain, specific situations. This radiation is felt down to the forehead and back of my head. It really feels like a special center and that something bigger opens up. More often than not, this activation affects the whole body or the experience of the body. Some of these details are goosebumps felt over the whole body, a strong activation of the green ray, improvement of the ability to merge/melt with what is being visualized etc.

Ankh, I feel a little reluctance to post, as it might seem like self aggrandisement (and that is always a possibility lol).

what has happened since then, is that I moved into the 8th chakra, or the Pole Star, which is a ball of White Light sitting above the Crown Chakra.

as for the actual awakening of the Crown Chakra, I felt it as extreme pain. I remember clutching the top of my head and screaming for about 3 minutes due to the psychic hurt. You know the feeling when you get pins and needles or your arm falls 'asleep'? Imagine the re-activation of a center that has been dormant most of your life. Then imagine it spinning up to full speed in a short period of time. That's what it felt like.

I also get convulsions. I feel embarassed to say this, but it is like when women have those 'super-orgasms' and they seem to flop around like fish.

quite honestly, I used to be 'normal' even 5 years ago. All this energy stuff is quite new to me.

pole star? i really dont get how any chakra could be considered above the crown, for mine is at infinite length (the shortest portion of it is about 5-20meters up tho)...

If theres an eigth "octave" chakra i'd say its the hypothalamus, for it is the area which lit up when my crown finaly took the best shape ever (that of a cristmas tree's), became like 5x thicker/heavier and stronger yet agile as ever...
The effect of the hypothalamus seem like a combination of most (if not all) energies.
Joy/blizz/appreciation, dopamine and satiety
And got the strange notion of me sitting within daylight like 5 times over the first 3 hour period.. even tho i was actualy sitting in complete darkness.

my experience is that the crown and the Pole Star tend to merge ... and they are perceived as the ONE energy center.

the Crown, with it's thousand petals, links INTO the Pole Star, and that's where it draws it's sustenance from.

at least, that's my tentative explanation of it.

If one gazes into the thinking and the culture of the West and the East, we would suggest that many inferences could be drawn by this difference. The tendency of the Western or Occidental orientation of mind is to choose the major scale or one of the eight-tone scales to listen to in music. It is not by chance that this choice is natural to the Occidental culture.

The reason for the use of an eight-chakra system, which is the seven chakras and the octave chakra, or the eighth, being the same as the first, only an octave higher, is that the Occidental culture is like a younger version of the older Oriental twelve-tone system. There are fewer gradations, fewer differentiations, and a clearer, simpler, plainer structure for looking at the self and structuring ways to interact with one’s own energy system.

On the other hand, the twelve-chakra system is indicative of the further articulation of energies and the use of energy which is more typical of Asian, Eastern or Oriental thought.

The subtleties of the twelve-chakra system can be very helpful to students of metaphysics. It begins the same way as does the Western system, the first chakra being connected with issues of sexuality and survival.

The second chakra, however, is divided in the Eastern system into two energy centers, one of which deals strictly with the self relating to the self. The second of these so-called orange-ray energy centers deals with the self in relation to other selves.

The solar plexus chakra remains unified in the Eastern system. However, after the solar plexus is left, and before one reaches what in the Western system is the heart chakra, there is a chakra which this instrument has often spoken of as the outer court of the heart.

It is helpful to realize that moving into the heart is not an unalloyed and simple joy. It is a process that in its inception can create a great deal of difficulty for the student and the seeker. The difficulty of moving into the heart is that one must bring all of the self into the heart in order for that space to become truly sacred. Most seekers are quite astonished when they first enter their own hearts to discover that there is a real perceived problem with meeting one’s shadow side.

Another difference between what we would call the Western and Eastern chakra system is that immediately after the heart chakra and before the [throat or blue-ray] chakra of open communication there is an added energy center in the Eastern system. To explicate why this becomes very helpful, it is well to point out that the green-ray or heart chakra is the first energy center in which the possibility of a true energy exchange exists.

The chakras above the level of the heart are also energy centers from which energy exchanges can be made. The reason that this information is helpful in discussing the chakras that come after the heart chakra in the Eastern system is that there is this [additional] energy center [which] captures a structure that is missing completely from the Western system. There is a subtlety here that can only be appreciated by those who {have] done quite a bit of work in consciousness. It involves what this instrument has termed a 90-degree phase shift.

The other differences between Eastern and Western chakra systems has to do with subtleties within work in consciousness in communication, which is the blue-ray energy center. There is a division in the Eastern system between the communication of self with self and the communication of self with other selves.

Further, there is a third division which deals with the communication of the self with the extended family of guides, presences, essences and entities that are connected with the self.

8 vs 12 system, luckily there arent any mysterious new frequencies outside the spectrum.

The chakra mentioned to be between green and lightblue is found at either 10,703125 or 10,78125hz, not quite sure... Dont care though, mainly because it doesnt matter.
play a frequency for the green ray and you get green, tuequoise, lightblue, blue, deep blue, light pink all at once.

Although, the orange ray division mentioned is a useful one, they speak of the celiac plexus.

Its useful to know of mainly because you cant reach it through playing a frequency for any of the ajecent areas... sacral and solar plexus.

Assuming violet ray is the one i labeled as silver cord.. not 100% sure tho, just 80.
Why is this underlined? didnt Ra mention many times the gateway to inteligent infinity is the pineal gland?....

Cant say that i've found much separation/focus/contrast within the energies that naturaly preach unity/blurr... as mentioned above, its also almost entierly pointless.

Funny thing imo, for the maskuline energies, only the exact frequencies are useful, everything inbetween is s***.
Within the concentrating energies....the useful effects are concentrated to a few set points.

Within the femenine, the different effects are diluted/scattered.
I could point out a handful of semi-intresting frequencies between 10 and 10,375...
All of which is given equal emphasis if reached naturaly.
like.. you can reach the pineal gland from both the heart (10,209375) and solar plexus (9,6875)

While the topic of crown chakra still exists...
I felt like showing visual aproximation of three different crown chakra shapes:

The left one is the one i get by holding a Black Tourmaline, it feels juuuuuust right.
lots of dopamine (the "f*** yeah!" feeling), doesnt collapse. Reminds me of one of these.

I get the center one if i hold an Ametrine or Amethyst (where it is worked rather directly), it may feel good at first, but the annoyance escalades as time progress (but only if ur pushing the crown upwards)..

The right one when holding a ruby-fuchsite (lightblue-green brown-white violet-pink).
It makes you feel amazingly beautiful, lightweight, loved and loving.
Reminds me of a flower, or one of these.

These shape also corelate to how your focus looks/works, how much information intake you have from the different distances from the center of your view (which explains how some ppl can read 10rows at the time (i know two with silver aura who both have this phenomenom)... how tall your crown is on the different levels also tell how far/near/sharp sighted you are on these.

A "pure solar plexus crown" would look like the 5 center lines in the left pic...
This kind of personality cant see very much with their perhiperal vision.
It stiffen the brain, and the crown tend to collapse...

Looking at the crown you can read how likely someone is to step unto side-tracks from their main objective... or how aware they are of their goal.
