3d, what do you think of Neptune in first house? Could that account for being overweight, too?

There was quite an interesting channeling on lightworker.org about how being overweight could be the result of trying to "expand" your energy body and expanding your physical body instead.
Neptune is limitless and has no boundaries. I gather if you live it physically in the material world, could well mean gaining weight.
I am sure someone with Neptune close to the ascendant has a deep (spiritual) longing. But I think Neptune is hard to live in the spiritual sense. No idea why, but I think Neptune is very much misunderstood and hard to grasp, since it is so nebulous.
I knew two people with Neptune in first house (Scorpio, though) who under the guise of spirituality were manipulative. Then I know someone with Neptune in Sagitarius, close to the asc. who indeed has weight problems.

Neptune isn't a planet I know too much about. Dreams and fantasies. Neptune causes us to see what is not actually there. Coincidentally, Neptune holds the power to pull back its own 'dream curtain' to reveal what is actually there.

I've had Neptune transiting my fourth house for awhile. I can see my own approach to my house. Its not decorated or ever complete. Why? Neptune allows me to see my house as what it would be if I completely the projects I have dreamed up in my head. A small flower bed, for instance, probably looks like a weeded mess to visitors. Me, I only see the rose bushes and mulch that I'm going to install next summer, and I'm not going to do it now because I need to level and till the bed, but why do that until the plants are ready to go in..... So, every time I look in that direction, I see what I dream it to be. Sometimes, I'll get an aspect to Neptune that says "hey, go ahead and make that dream manifest today, dummy".

So, maybe, MAYbe, Neptune in the first house gives the ability to view the physical features for what one dreams them to be instead of what they are? So, you look in the mirror, and you think "these arms are going to look so defined when I get done with them." Then, a year later, you look and think "this isn't what I thought it would be..."

Meerie, then it's about neptune in sagittarius since sag is ruled by jupiter=expansion. Had it been capricorn asc ruled by saturn/limitation the tendency would not be the same i think.

Mine is in second too, together with the moon so my economy is tied to emotional desiscions for good and bad, up and down.

Neptune in first could also be an actor or someone who acts like a chameleon.

June 1st - partial Solar eclipse (new moon)

June 15- total lunar eclipse (full moon)

July 1- partial solar eclipse


Eclipses are supposed to be more powerful and longer lasting effects. They aren't much more 'special' than regular moon phases, in my opinion

This evening, I was sitting at table with some serious energy. I had like nervous vibrations and my hands couldn't hold steady. It was just really unusual and weird.
Just now, at midnight, I decided to look at my chart. Jupiter was opposing my ascendant. I knew this was coming, but the hour I felt the vibrations was when it was to the exact degree, exact minute.

Also since some of you seem to know alot about Astrology could you help me with my own astrology chart/birth chart thingy. I have recently come to realize that astrology is not some kind of silly thing like I have been told by the mainstream. And that it has real merit as a "science" so I would like to learn.

First, astrology is an archetypal study of the 3D/human aspect. 'This means this' 'this represents this'

Second, following the motions of the planets, we see a real-time representation of the universe's energies. All that is, is a reflection of itself. We can see a reflection of our very Being in the motion of the planets.

For a start, Linda Goodman has some interesting books, and I also recommend Liz Greene's books about the planets and their archetypal meaning.

These are very wide open interpretations. He uses midpoints arbitrarily, i.e. if you want to talk about destruction all you need to do is talk about Pluto. He uses aspect figures that only form if you take the entire month's transit as one picture.

Sure, stuff is going to happen in August. My personal chart looks very positive and life changing indeed. Of course, just look at my pregnant wife and my big contract in limbo, and you can determine the same

Not to interesting info from me:

On his chart,... The Sun is at 28LEO on Aug 21. This is always the same, every year. On this day, this year, the moon travels from 17TAU to 29TAU which is opposite of where he has it placed.
He says his composite chart takes into account the Full and New moon. New is at 06VIR and Full is at 20AQU, so the Midpoint is 28SCO, where he has it.

Funny thing is that the day of the Sun's placement and the time of his Ascendant placement has the Moon at 28TAU. The T-Square is still there for him to interpret. He could've even adding in a bit about it being the Closing/Last Quarter Moon. He could've taken it further, added in the Full-New midpoint, and talked about a Grand Cross.

Then he chooses to pick Pluto Square the Jupiter/Neptune Midpoint.

If you want to talk about the mundane topic of the US's new shift in how it does business, all you need to see is that they are trying to deal with a new age never known before. Look at how Apple is more liquid than the US government, and that should tell you that technology is speeding by (this is a roundabout conclusion of course). This is a destruction phase of the old way. It is also a new beginning to a new way. We can only hope that compassion prevails and that the world accepts the changes that are coming.
